AidIT NPO, established in April 2016 and officially registered with the Department of Social Development, stands as a beacon of comprehensive aid within the Ndlambe Municipality, Eastern Cape, South Africa. Our organization comprises a dedicated board and implementation team, boasting a collective experience of over 80 years in the realm of development aid. Our team is composed of diverse professionals, including a doctor, occupational therapist, social worker, nurse, disaster management specialist, and development aid experts, ensuring a multifaceted approach to our initiatives.

At AidIT, we harness the power of information technology and systems to elevate transparency, efficiency, and efficacy. Our commitment extends beyond our initiatives; we extend IT services and consultations to fellow NGOs, fostering a network of shared expertise and technological empowerment. In 2021, AidIT proudly launched the Shine program, a holistic and integrated development initiative operating from the Sunshine Life Centre in Port Alfred, South Africa. This transformative program coincided with the inauguration of the Sunshine Life Centre in July 2023. The Centre’s walk-in help desk serves as an accessible gateway for all residents of Ndlambe Municipality, providing access to established and proven development opportunities. Through the Shine program, AidIT initiated the Sunshine NGO Forum (www.sunshine.ngo), collaborating with like-minded organizations in the region, pooling resources, and integrating programs to deliver impactful development support to marginalized families at a remarkably low cost.

Leveraging cutting-edge app and cloud technology, we implement, monitor, evaluate, and ensure transparency throughout program execution, thereby optimizing efficiency and efficacy.

AidIT operates as a registered Public Beneficiary Organization, allowing tax deductions for donations. As part of our commitment to transparency, we undergo an annual financial audit conducted by Klinkradt and Associates (practice number 957100-0000), ensuring accountability and trustworthiness in our endeavours.
