AidIT NPO was founded on 16 April 2016 as an association registered with the Dept of Social Development under NPO nr 169-590 NPO. In 2020 AidIT was registered as a Public Beneficiary Organisation with the South African Revenue Service. One of AidIT’s fields of expertise is to assist other NGOs with information management making use of a codeless app platform and cloud technology.

AidIT’s main focus is the SHINE program, a holistic, integrated, systematic and family-based poverty eradication program. AidIT NPO is the best organization to implement this program because through its board and staff it has collective poverty-focused development aid experience of over 80 years. AidIT is implementing the Shine program in Ndlambe Municipality, Eastern Cape, South Africa.
