Watch how a mother living in a small shack with her two sons found solutions, skills, and support at Sunshine Life Centre. Her story is one of hundreds of families who walk through our doors every month seeking help, dignity, and hope.
In two and a half years (July 2023 to Dec 2025)
1475+ people assisted at the Help Desk
775+ people trained in skills & enterprise
840+ food & clothing parcels given
375+ psycho-social group sessions and consultations conducted
100+ people helped into work
32 preschools and 5 after-school centres supported with infrastructure and enrichment
These numbers show the scale of need in our community — and how much hope your contribution makes possible. We run one of the busiest and most impactful community centres in Ndlambe.
To stay open, we must raise R80,000 to cover the next three months.
R150 – Provide an emergency food parcel for a struggling individual
R250 – Fund one Help Desk consultation
R400 – Train one person in a skills workshop
R800 – Support a household for an entire month
R2,500 – Fund one full week of Centre operations
R10,000 – Become a Sunshine Angel sponsor
We have successfully applied for funding, but it will only be released in March/April 2026.
To continue serving families during December, January, and February, we must raise R80,000 from local supporters and holidaymakers who care about our community.
Every cent goes toward:
Operating the Help Desk
Providing food and clothing parcels
Running skills development workshops
Follow-up support for people in crisis
Maintaining a safe community space
We commit to full transparency and will publish a weekly update of funds raised.
Sunshine Life Centre is a home of hope for the most vulnerable individuals in Nemato, Station Hill, and greater Ndlambe.
While you enjoy the holidays, your contribution can lift up a local family, a mother, a youth, or someone fighting to change their life.
Your support — whether R150 or R10,000 — helps keep the heart of our community beating.
